Southwestern Ireland is a popular tourist destination with scenic views of countryside and cliffs and a rich Celtic history. This broad view from the International Space Station shows the relationship between valleys, mountains, and the major towns. Near Killarney are ancient oak and yew forests. The Blarney Stone can be kissed in Blarney Castle, just north of Cork.
