	How do Raindrops Make Sound Underwater?		Drops of medium size (1.2-2.0 mm diameter), do not trap bubbles underwater and, consequently, are relatively quiet—much quieter than small raindrops. The only acoustic signal from these drops is a weak impact sound spread over a wide frequency band.
