Dust Above the Gobi Desert

On March 23, 2017, the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Aqua satellite captured this natural-color image of dust blowing across the Gobi Desert in north-central China. The area sees frequent dust storms in March and April.
