Dust Storm over Libya

Dust Storm over Libya

A large plume of Saharan Desert dust (brownish pixels) was blowing over Libya and northward across the Mediterranean Sea on May 6. Part of the Italian island of Sicily can be seen (top center) in this scene, but it is mostly obscured by cloud and dust.
