Dust continued to fill the skies over eastern
Asia yesterday. The full-resolution version
of this Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS) image also shows that the
volcano, Mount Oyama, on the island of Miyake-jima due south of Tokyo, is also adding its own aerosols to the mix. The grayish plume can be seen drifting first eastward and then southeastward from the small island.
