A friend and I were musing one day, "Where have you always wanted to visit?" Of course, the Galapagos archipelago was number one. He put together a trip and enlisted a small group of fellow bird-watchers. It is very expensive to visit the Galapagos, but afterwards, buyer's remorse was not what I felt. Instead, there was that wonderful glow that ensues from the sheer pleasure of being immersed in the natural world and encountering unusual creatures and fantastic landscapes that seem almost to exist only in dreams. In fact, I have been dreaming about the Galapagos ever since.

Gene, from people living in Galapagos, it's really nice to have this breath of fresh wind blowing in from an outside observer! to all aspects of the Islands. We thoroughly enjoyed your enthusiastic and personal views of your experiences and the people you met along the way. 25 years was never too late! Godfrey
